Job description:
Our client, a leading provider of communication equipment is looking for an
embedded c++ developer to help them with a large project. they recently
sold a communication system to a company in taiwan and they are in need of
a programmer to develop new applications in the areas of text messaging
services, and general data transfer through the system. the system will
deploy in september 2016. they are looking for a senior developer who can
take ownership of the application leading the design and implementation.
Job responsibilities include:
• Design and development using sounds engineering practices, design
patterns, with an emphasis on critical systems and applications.
• Develop application using c++ with extensive use of oo methodologies,
applicant must have experience with stl, boost, and network programming.
• The target platform is microcore linux, applicant must have experience
with development/deployment on linux, multithreading, network programming,
and debugging.
• Exhibits dependability and complies with attendance requirements.
Required skills:
• 10+ years of experience in developing and testing software based
products.
• Recent experience in developing software in c++ for embedded devices
• Experience with network programming and protocols.
Plus skills:
• Knowledge of land mobile radio systems or other communication systems is
a plus.
