Required Skills:
• Expert hands on working experience with Planning, Essbase, HFM.
• Expert knowledge of Hyperion Planning (business rules, integration,
etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Hyperion Essbase (ASO, BSO, Calculation
Scripts, Rules, MDX, Essbase Studio).
• Advanced knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management / HFM (business
rules, integration, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience in developing automation scripts (shell, batch, VBS).
Professional Experience:
• Minimum 10 years with minimum 2+ years of solution architect
experience.
• Experience in developing and leading technical design and
documentation.
• Implemented at least 3 full multi-product EPM solutions (Planning,
Essbase, HFM).
• Must have lead more than two Hyperion implementations.
• Experience in designing and automating EPM solutions.
• Must have exceptional communication skills, able to communicate and
gather business requirements effectively with both the technical audience
and business users.
• Must have experience giving presentations to senior management and
Business Process owners
Responsibilities:
• Design and solution architect for the Oracle Hyperion EPM suite –
11.1.1.3.
• Document the technical design and solution architecture.
• Review and bridge the solution and vision from a technical aspect
to business terms.
• Analyze the business impact, review system performance and provide
necessary recommendations.
• Challenge the existing processes and recommend changes where needed
to add value and help reduce on-going maintenance.
• Work with EPM, BI and Finance team to deliver enterprise level
solutions.
• Take a leadership role in the implementation of the solutions.
• Support testing and production deployments.
• Help develop complex items related to calculations, rules, forms,
grids, queries or other items.
• Perform review of developed product and assess quality of
development.
• Work with diverse and geographically spread teams to deliver the
solution.
