• The ideal candidate will need to be a senior engineer that can help vet
future team members
• Must have scalability and performance experience also performance
optimization around Angular.
• The client's team seeks a talented Lead Angular Developer/Lead
Application Engineer to join their team maintaining, optimizing and adding
new features to our client's advertising solutions.
• A qualified candidate should feel comfortable working with a broad range
of front-end application Internet technologies, including advanced Angular,
JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5, AJAX and advanced DOM for applications on both
desktop and mobile devices.
• Prior experience with adaptive video streaming technologies, digital
advertising platforms, and/or web analytics integration is preferred.
*Responsibilities:*
• Lead Engineer will maintain, optimize and develop new features using
Angular, DoubleClick, FreeWheel and common JavaScript for desktop and
mobile to meet specific business requirements for video players, digital
advertising and web analytics.
• The ideal candidate will be a Senior Angular Engineer that can help vet
future team members
• Develop software that is modular, scalable, stable and optimized.
• Cultivate subject matter expertise in the areas of online video
advertising and become an expert in the latest video advertising
technologies.
• Work collaboratively with team members and internal technology groups to
focus on coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate third party plug-ins and software components with consumer
facing web sites and applications.
• Provide support for internal teams and external vendors utilizing
supported platform components.
• Take meetings with internal teams and external vendors/partners.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
• BS in computer science, engineering or other related degree.
• The candidate must have at least five years of interactive development
experience, focused on object oriented JavaScript programming.
• Expert knowledge with server-side programming.
• Expert knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, DOM, HTML5.
• Must have working knowledge of MVC frameworks, utility libraries, testing
frameworks, build tools, code repositories, develop tools and CI tools,
such as Underscore, Jasmine/Mocha, Grunt, etc.
• Must be comfortable on the command line.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be capable of understanding business objectives with the ability to
translate that business logic into technical design.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies in order to provide
video playback, ad and analytics solutions for emerging digital platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
a plus.
