*Job Description:*

*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

·     Provide Service & Infrastructure Operations support for JEE based
Middleware service.

·     Build, deploy and support all components of JEE Middleware (Web
Services, Web Applications and JMS) on Weblogic.

·     Installation, Maintenance and Administration of Weblogic releases,
system upgrades and patches.

·     Carry out incident and problem management support and documentation
to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the
appropriate groups.

·     Perform Capacity Planning, Performance Monitoring and Tuning of
Weblogic.

·     Compile and Analyze reports from monitoring tools for Middleware
components like WilyIntroscope, AppDynamics etc.

·     Perform change management, configurations, design and implementation
of the supported products and systems.

·     Conduct the analysis, definition, documentation and testing of
application and system enhancements.

·     Verify/Coordinate change management of WAF, IDS and other network
devices like FW etc.


*QUALIFICATIONS: *

·     Proficiency in installation, administration and monitoring of
Weblogic 10.3+ middleware servers hosting JEE applications

·     Familiar with Java.

·     Related Middleware certification is preferred.

·     Proficiency in administration of JMS.

·     Good knowledge on high availability & DR.

·     Working knowledge of Network and Storage Systems.

·     Expert level knowledge in Configuring, monitoring, tuning WebLogic
domains in Cluster and high availability environment.

·     Good understanding of JVM and its memory management, tuning,
diagnostics and configuration.

·     Working knowledge of Web technologies.

·     Good understanding of Oracle RAC Databases.

·     Proficiency with Unix / Linux with strong Shell scripting experience.

·     Strong understanding with WLST scripting.

·     Familiarity with virtualization technologies.

·     Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority
projects with varying deadlines.

·     Familiarity with Agile techniques.

·     Excellent problem solving abilities and must be detailed orientated.

·     Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
