*Role Description*
- This individual must have assisted organizations in the formulation,
planning, and execution of a mobility strategy and delivery of a mobile
app.
- The candidate must be familiar with the current state of mobile
technology and mobile best practices throughout a variety of industries.
- Must be knowledgeable about mobile development standards, have the
ability to identify a landscape of mobile vendors (MDM, MADPs, etc.), be
familiar with the deployment of mobile apps across platforms, and have
created a center of excellence design and execution for mobility.
- The individual must have led project teams through a mobile app SDLC.
Support the development of mobile strategy and architecture for clients.
Architect multi-tiered Web and mobile applications and infrastructure,
involving Web services, mobile device management and mobile application
management solutions, middleware and databases, and client-side frameworks
and applications that encompass native mobile applications and HTML 5-based
applications.
- Work with large government enterprises to support development teams in
the build out of a mature mobile infrastructure.
- Help to implement proposed infrastructure, as required, apply knowledge
of mobile security, and lead the implementation of mobile applications and
mobile infrastructure using the Agile methodology and Agile engineering
tools.
- Develop mobile computing strategy and architecture that encompasses
devices, applications, data, infrastructure, and services. Develop mobile
application and mobile computing standards and support application
development teams using Agile methodologies and continuous integration.
- Participate in, and execute the delivery of mobile app SDLC for the
development of client apps within an Agile methodologies and continuous
integration framework.
- Understand enabling components: security, infrastructure, mobile device
management (MDM), application development environments (MADPs), user
experience for mobile, COE, operations support. Collaborate with team
members and clients to produce mobile best practices and processes.
*Mandatory*
* At least 4 years in roles including management consulting and business
strategy.
* Experience in facilitating strategy/innovation sessions with both
business and technology participants
* Knowledge of mobile market including key players, emerging technologies,
and new business models (including platforms, MDM solutions, network
architecture and other mobile technology)
* Presentation abilities to technical and business client teams
* Superior oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; including
strong presentation skills
* 2+ years of experience with architecture development
* 2+ years of experience with mobile application development, including
iOS, Android, and Windows
* Experience with mobile infrastructure, including mobile device management
or mobile application management software
* Experience with mobile computing concepts and devices, including mobile
data, mobile security, analytics, applications, devices, and other areas
* Experience with multitier and crossplatform architectures driven towards
mobility
* Experience with developing IT architecture plans and software development
methodologies * Experience with Agile Scrum and developing continuous
integration and test driven development environments for mobile
applications
* Knowledge of ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services, its
principles and patterns at an enterprise level, including as it relates to
mobile applications * Experience using MS Office Tools (Visio, Excel, Word,
etc.) * Excellent verbal and written communications skills
