*Title: Lead IT Infrastructure Analyst* *Duration: 24 Months * *Location: Augusta, ME* *Interview: TELEPHONIC+Skype* *Client Revenue Solutions* *Job Requirements* *Job description:* Working closely with client’s technology and consulting teams, you will leverage your broad-based technical consulting experience to effectively manage the project’s infrastructure, ensure operational performance and capacity, assess and mitigate risks, resolve technical issues, and recommend, design, and implement future technology solutions. You may also be asked to participate and/or lead additional design and development activities during the system implementation process. This is a client-facing position requiring strong communication, problem-solving and influencing skills and the ability to provide vision and leadership in matters of key IT infrastructure technologies. Using both your subject-matter expertise and hands-on experience, your day-to-day work will include the support of enterprise computing environments and applications including IBM BladeCenter hardware, Microsoft Windows operating systems, *EMC SAN storage solutions, Microsoft SQL Server databases, Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, Project Server, IBM Tivoli backup hardware and software and the IBM Tivoli Job Control environment. * In this role you might be asked to: Provide IT services such as general systems administration and troubleshooting, capacity planning and load management, security assessments and threat resolution, monitoring and resolution of reliability and performance issues, disaster recovery, user support, and infrastructure maintenance at the system level and for individual hardware and/or software components Participate in the selection, design, and implementation of new computer equipment, including servers, data storage systems, and backup systems, as well as the systems software that runs on those servers Lead the establishment of virtual software development environments, builds and configuration activities Identify delivery risks and issues and recommend practical solutions taking into account both client functional requirements and business objectives Research, assess and evaluate new and emerging technologies to determine suitability for the client’s current and future enterprise computing needs Support Project Management in the definition and technical validation of delivery schedules and plans REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS or a related field.
