*Position: DevOps Engineer* *Location: Irving, TX* *Duration: 12 Months* *Interview: Phone and Face-to-Face* *Job Description:* • Looking for an individual with innovative and self-motivated Technical DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in developing tools, infrastructure and build systems with Database management experience. • This position will be expected to bring in high order of development and deployment efficiency in development through support of many development and production database systems automation. *Responsibilities* • Will work within Tools and Infrastructure team to support product development with Database management, maintenance and administration focus • Will drive the organization to move toward the containerization of all database using Docker and opens stack. • Support MySQL, PostgreSQL and Cassandra and Containerizing some of the key infrastructure database • Individual must be DevOps enthusiast who is willing to pioneer how tools, people and technology can work together • Will spend 30% of time in planning and defining infrastructure and tools requirements/specification, 40% of time development of tools and Database support and 30% of the time guiding our internal customers • Provide day to day technical guidance and hands on help to development engineers. • Design a highly scalable and reconfigurable test bed to facilitate rapid convergence of software release. • Create DevOps framework for automation of software deployment and configuration. • Support all development and production environments • Integrate all development tools for software development and validation work flow including build, check-in, code review, code coverage, defect tracking system etc. *Minimum qualifications:* • BS in Computer Science/Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline/experience preferred. • 8+ years of experience in Tools, Build, Infrastructure, Automation and Regression for large scale product/software release across multiple sites. • 3+ Years of database management experience such as: MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Cassandra, • Some experience with Linux/Docker container management *Required Skills:* • An excellent understanding of DevOps methodologies with at least 2+ years of experience in supporting large scale product/service development. • Database management expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra and other open source databases • Proficient in scripting languages like Java/Ruby/Perl/Python/C++ etc. • Docker and Linux environment experience • Tools, builds and Continuous Integration experience • Proficient with software development tools/environment such as Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, GIT etc. • Solid knowledge of operating systems and shell scripts. • Previous experience in open source project tools for test automation and emulation. *Desired Skills/Experience:* • Extensive experience in developing tools with good UI and reporting capabilities. • Extensive experience in integration of off the shelf tools in to the development environment including code collaborator, dashboard, feature database, code coverage, release management etc. • Experience with configuration tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar is desirable. • SCM and Build Tools Experience: Jenkins, Stash, Jira, and other tools • Strong fundamentals of distributed systems development, tools and designs • Strong knowledge of API design such as Netconf, RESTful API, XML APIs, and SNMP. • Collaborate closely with product development and test teams to ensure operational team processes are factored into new product development plans and designs • Excellent communication and problem solving skills • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees across the business; ability to influence and negotiate *Regards,* *Kundan Kumar* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *221,Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701* *Email :** [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Contact No : 302-261-3207 X 107* *Hangout :kundanvsg* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
