*Role : Java Developer* *Location : **McLean, VA* *Interview : Phone/Skype* *Duration : 6 + Months* *Rate* : *$35/hr * *Job Responsibilities*: · The Java Developer performs software development and maintenance on the EPA’s emissions inventory system. · The individual will be part of a team supporting and developing a complex web application for the collection and reporting of air emissions data. · The chosen candidate must be able to review existing code and fix defects and assist with further refinement and refactoring of the application and architecture. · The Java Developer will work closely with the business analysts and quality assurance analysts to make sure functional requirements are implemented as expected. · The chosen candidate must be comfortable in an Agile development environment.
