*Job Description:* This position will be a member of the Business Intelligence Engineering team and will define and implement business intelligence and reporting solutions. To be successful in this role you must be curious about the ‘business’ and investigate the ‘why’ behind the solutions we are developing. You will act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to streamline and improve the information and analytical needs of the company. Attention to detail and data quality is critical success factor in the role. This is a technical and business focused position in which you will balance your time between documenting requirements, data exploration and analysis, documentation, and BI solution development and programming. *Primary Responsibilities- *Partner with business groups to gather, refine and document requirements for Global Business. Intelligence Framework and Enterprise Data Warehouse *- *Query, analyze and profile data from source to target to assess data integrity and identify gaps in the data to adequately and accurately meet reporting analytics needs *- *Design, develop, test and deploy Business Intelligence solutions on the Microstrategy platform *- *Consistently create insightful reports that effectively synthesize and interpret data to present an accurate and clearly communicated story and recommendations *- *Understand complex business challenges & translate them into requirements/solutions *- *Practice data governance principals by keeping consistent data dictionaries, sematic abstraction layers, metadata, business rule definitions and reporting catalogs *- *Ensure data auditing and quality controls are established to ensure data accuracy and integrity *- *Perform system administration, change management and production support tasks of the business intelligence infrastructure, data repositories and reporting content *- *Work with cross functional teams to coordinate unit, integration, data validation and user acceptance testing, then prioritize and tack defects to resolution *- *Perform ad-hoc queries, operational reporting and data analysis to support daily business functions as needed *- *Analyze, synthesize, and interpret data from a variety of data sources, investigating, reconciling and explaining data differences to understand the complete data lifecycle *QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:- *7+ years’ experience as an analyst/developer delivering enterprise business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions *- *5+ years development experience with a top tier BI platform using Microstrategy - Practical understanding of multidimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts and methodologies, star schemas, and how BI tool interface with the underlying data structures *- *Experience extracting and manipulating data from relational databases with advanced SQL, stored procedures.
