-Web Developer/WordPress Developer, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server
* JOB SUMMARY: *Web Developer/WordPress Developer is responsible for the
management of the WordPress framework, including all supporting web
services and databases (C#,ASP.NET, SQL Server). The Developer will also be
responsible for upgrading the WordPress framework and managing all
dependent web services, to ensure correct performance of the entire system
upon post upgrade procedures. The Developer will also lead in trouble
shooting software performance issues executing on the WordPress framework,
to include, all supporting web services and data sources.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*1. Possess Deep developmental/configuration
knowledge of WordPress 3.x.x
2. Development experience with WordPress 3 and 4.
3. Experience developing within a Windows environment.
4. Experience coding and debugging WordPress web services and plugins.
(.NET C#, ASP.NET,etc.)
5. Experience performing WordPress upgrades.
6. Experience with PHP 5.x.x
7. Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server.
8. Experience writing/debugging SQL statements (SQL Server)
9. Experience with the MySQL relational database software (installation,
configuration, migration).
10. Conducts unit testing of created WordPress pages, web services and SQL
statements.
11. Experience with HTML 5
12. Possesses experience solving optimization issues with WordPress and
addressing scalability issues within a Windows environment.
*DECISION MAKING::*-This position works alongside current team members and
brings a high level breadth of knowledge from within their domain of
experience, with a focus on WordPress development and administration.
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS::*-Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronic
media or related field from an institution accredited by a nationally
recognized accrediting agency.
-2 years of Word Press development, installation and configuration.
-2 years of experience developing .NET web services (C#, ASP.NET etc.).
-2 years of experience developing solutions adhering to sound Object
Oriented Programming concepts.
-Proficient in the use of industry-standard Web authoring tools, graphic
and desktop publishing software, relational database software applications
within a windows environment.
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BUT NOT REQUIRED::*-Master’sDegree in computer
science, electronic media or related field from an institution accredited
by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
-Deep knowledge of the WordPress framework ( version 3.x.x )
-Deep knowledge of WordPress upgrade procedures and implementation
details/Best practices.
-Solid knowledge in optimizing WordPress applications and web services
(HTML 5, C#, ASP.NET)
-Knowledge of application security concepts and best practices, (Binding
SQL variables, encoding data etc.)
