*Duration : 6+ Months* *MOI : Phone then F2F/Skype* *E-Commerce – UI Web DeveloperThe eCommerce Senior Specialist – Web Development* is a talented developer also responsible for mentoring a highly talented web development team. As senior specialist your responsibility is to architect, mentor the web development team and lead by example. The web development team is responsible for front-end development of online ordering for company as well as international eCommerce sites. Expertise in classic JavaScript and design patterns as well as knowledge of libraries and frameworks is extremely important. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (20%) Planning, Design, and Architecture • Architect web solutions to support companies eCommerce functionality and business requirements • Collaborate with marketing, agency and in-house designers, requirements analysts, and technical project team on web designs • Work with Technical Delivery Managers to plan and estimate development tasks (20%) Mentorship • Develop, mentor, train, and support the team of highly talented web developers • Create development standards to be used by the development team. • Responsible for web architecture decisions to ensure well thought out design and conceptualization, taking into account the suggestions and priorities of the solution architecture • Work closely with the team to ensure they are effectively writing, modifying and debugging e-Commerce web interface (60%) Web Development • Write, modify, and debug e-Commerce web user interfaces • Apply advanced user interface design skills when implementing features • Generate tests for User Interfaces • Rapidly prototype new ideas and concepts • Lead the transition of developed applications and systems into testing and production phases for all front end web development work • Support all production applications that the team is responsible for developing QUALIFICATIONS *• Mastery of JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, CSS, and XHTML* *• Expert in developing efficient, data-driven* applications, with in-depth knowledge of client-side MVC methodologies and AJAX-based communication with RESTful services. Experience with modern frameworks such as Backbone, Ember, Angular, or similar is preferred. • Working knowledge of Flash, digital imaging and digital imaging tools, and back end techniques • Experience with; GruntJS, PhantomJS, Bower, Continuous Integration and Front-End automation are required. • Comfortable with usability and information architecture principles. Prefer eCommerce site experience. *• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience* *• Excellent team player with good communication skills with both non-technical & technical co-workers* *• Agile project management experience* *• 2+ years’ experience leading project teams and/or mentoring junior developers* *• 7+ years IT industry experience.
