*Looking for someone with experience with tools like WebSphere Registry and
Repository, WebSphere Transformation Extender, WebSphere Message Broker and
IBM DataPower*

Required Skill Set:
The technologies required for this role are:
• BPM, WSRR, BAM, Virtual Testing, DIM
• Schema in Text or Xcel, XMLSPY
• XML Markup Languages and XSLT
• SOAP

Preferred Skill Set:
• WTX and Performance tools
• IIB DIM, WTX and Performance tools
• ESB
• REST with Json
• DataPower
• Message Broker

Position Responsibilities:
1. Applies fundamental concepts, goals and requirements associated with SOA
and service-orientation to conceptualize and define services and service
governance impacts.
2. Facilitates SOA project delivery lifecycle, delivery strategies and
assesses impact on analysis phases with service governance-related
considerations.
3. Responsible for understanding latest technology implemented in
environment.
4. As the Service Custodian, responsible for the management and governance
responsibilities of SOA services.
        Promotes the extension, expansion and maintenance of service logic,
as well as protecting the integrity of the service context and its
associated functional boundary.
5. As the Service Custodian, ensure the evolution of agnostic services, so
that no one project team inadvertently skews the design of an agnostic
service in favor of specific or single-purpose requirements.
        Responsible for hiding non-essential information about service
designs from the outside world (as per the access control levels
established by the Service Abstraction principle).
6. Service Custodians will exercise strong authority, for the good of
service assets.
7. Service Custodian authors, owns, and maintains details of service
profile documents
8. Define and Design SOA components for projects.
9. Estimate SOA work effort and durations.
10. Leads portions of SOA efforts during projects.
11. Analysis, design, review, testing, and support of SOA implementation
components for large, complex projects.
12. Translating business needs into SOA solutions.
13. Analysis and definition of service inventory blueprints and the
modeling and definition of service candidates, service capability
candidates and service composition candidates.
14. Understands and provides input into Service Logic Design using SOA
principles.
15. Partners with Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to establish positive
relationships with clients and confirm requirements.
16. Partners with Technical Project Manager (TPM), in development of
project plan.
17. Document SOA components and provide visibility to service inventory.
18. Monitor business use and re-use of the SOA components, providing
metrics on the benefits of SOA.
19. Provide ongoing consulting to internal I.S. and Client areas of SOA
services and the data provided.
20. Identify SOA discrepancies and data, delivery, and accessibility and
work to ensure integrity of the architecture as a whole.
21. Recommend and define opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity,
or service usage.
22. Expand the use of SOA components, through publishing, promoting, and
re-use to reduce risk of duplication.
23. Provide input to policies, and best practices, to leverage SOA assets.
24. Work with Data Architect and Service Architect on SOA solutions.
25. Expert knowledge of Comerica’s SOA Strategy, promoting and
incorporating it as appropriate.
26. Creates and communicates on-going support of SOA standards and
processes.
27. Stays current with changing technology and industry trends in the area
of SOA.
28. Participate in the development and presentations, overall metrics
showing SOA principles applied to measure the value to the organization.

Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 10 of experience in
technology or 14 years of experience in technology
• 5 years of experience working with various service related functions such
as SOA, web services, application messaging requirements, business analyst
responsibilities
• 5 years of business analyst responsibilities on multiple projects.
• 3 years of experience with fundamental concepts, goals and requirements
associated with SOA and service-orientation are fully understood, with an
emphasis on service conceptualization and service governance impacts.
• 3 years of experience with of the overall SOA project delivery lifecycle
is required, including delivery strategies and their impact on analysis
phases and additional service governance-related considerations.
