*The role of Senior Front-End Developer (reports to development director)
requires a firm understanding of various full-stack technologies, and the
ability to accurately estimate and efficiently manage workload timelines.*
*Responsibilities include:*
•Maintenance of various programming projects across varied technologies
•New project ownership and timeline management
•Productive on multiple client projects at one time
•Participates in standard agile development process/method
•Takes ownership of performance, quality, security, and scalability
•Keeps current with technology trends and knowledge
*•Collaborates with team members, and inter-departmentally*
*•Works great under pressure*
*•Digests design specifications and requirements; translates (with
director) to time and cost estimates*
*•Adheres to best practices for development*
*Development skills:*
*•PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap*
*•Adobe CC including Photoshop & Illustrator*
*•LAMP stack, including:*
*•Amazon AWS EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53*
*•PHP Frameworks (Zend/Laravel), or other server-side frameworks*
*•MySQL, PostGres, Mongo DB*
*•Native and hybrid mobile development for iOS and Android*
•Upholds best practices:
•Front-end code authoring on various codebases, optimized for
team-friendliness, SEO and accessibility
•Source control & versioning
•Customize WordPress child themes
•Moodle and Captivate e-learning modules
