*Position : Business Analyst Duration : 6 + Months Location: Oak Brook, IL * *Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Job Description*: The following are primary objectives for this role. These may be expanded or retracted as determined by the Engagement Manager.: *Define the business requirements and creates technology-independent process and data models for technology solutions that meet the business needs of a single business area. *Bridge the gap between the business customer and the technology solution providers (i.e., vendors, infrastructure team, development team, etc. requires 3-5 years experience in defining requirements and business analytics. This is a critical role within USORT; in this role, the consultant will be interfacing between the US Operations Restaurant Technology (USORT), the field and the Digital Team responsible for Mobile Order-Pay. Mobile Order-Pay is a project that allows the customer to place an order from their Mobile device, have the order processed by our POS System, produced in the kitchen, and picked up by the customer when they are within a geo-fence. The individual will be a key contributor to the USORT Requirements Team and have responsibilities for building out U.S. Requirements as they relate to this Initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and process improvement and will look for every opportunity to close gaps and improve inefficent processes. This person will be highly skilled in their ability to navigate complex relationships and partner with teams in order to ensure successful execution. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, sometimes ambiguous environment • Detail oriented • Good organizational skills; balance multiple priorities successfully • Ability to assemble and clearly present technical information to non-technical people • Customer service focus • Understanding of business risk & financial impact of technical decisions This individual will plan, monitor and track deliverables through the use of industry best practices. Work with Product Owners and provide real-time updates for all deliverables. *RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:* The responsibilities for this position are documented below: · Work with various internal teams including: o US Operations – Restaurant Technology Leads / Team o US Mobile Order-Pay Team o US Experience of the Future Team o US IT – Business Analysts, Business Technical Analysts, Project Managers and SMEs o US IT QA o to create, edit and proof-read documents, including easy-to-understand user guides, quick-start guides, installation manuals, operational instructions and release notes. · Updates and revision management of existing documentation (business, functional, and technical) and distribute new and updated documentation to relevant teams. · Review published and internal materials to provide editing or proofreading services, as requested. · Accountable for the quality of all assignments, including accuracy and SME approvals · Assist with and complete appropriate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) This position interfaces with our Quality Assurance (QA) Team, our Integrated Product Testing (IPT) Team, our New Concepts Team (NCT), and our Hardware Teams, in addition to all other previously listed teams.
