Client is looking for a Middleware Engineer
*Position Description:*
Backfill operational activities while FTEs are consumed with project tasks
*Responsibilities:*
Maintain production/test/development systems for various technologies:
- Apache
- NGENX
- Tomcat
- WebSphere Commerce
*Required Skills/Experience:*
- In-depth experience with middleware standards and best practices to build
hardened and resilient environments
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex multi-tiered application
architectures with disparate middleware technologies
- Demonstrated experience with WebSphere Commerce and Tomcat application
server platforms
- Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining web reverse proxies
with Apache and NGINX
- Demonstrated skill in shell scripting and process automation
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies a plus
- Familiarity with SiteMinder is a plus
- Responsible for resolution of production incidents, which may require 24
hr/7 day week coverage
