*Location:*:: *MA-Massachusetts/Cambridge Duration:::6+ monthsMOI::: Phone then face to face * *Job Description::* -Sr. BI Developer/Analyst opportunity in Cambridge, MA. -Must have Cognos and Tableau and Data Modeling experience. -Sap is a big plus. *BI Analyst/Developer::* • Interprets client business requirements and determines optimum BI solutions to meet business needs. • Design, develop, test and deploy visualizations, dashboards and reports. • Participates in creating strategies that use business intelligence and data platforms. • Provides direction for the planning, designing, and execution of user efforts. • Works with IS&T Data Warehouse team members to design and implement solutions in alignment with the project schedule. • Provides input to the development of information quality metrics. • Provides input to standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of the BI tools and systems. • Designs and delivers end-user training and training materials. • Works with developers to make sure that all data solutions are consistent. • Expands and grows data platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges. • Understands indexing schemes and partition design. • Constructs and implements operational data stores and data marts. • Resolves conflicts between models, ensuring that data models are consistent with the ecosystem model (e.g., entity names, relationships and definitions). • Adheres to data management standards, policies and procedures. • Evaluates and provides feedback on future technologies and new releases/upgrades. • Provides technical assistance to junior team members. *Qualifications & Technical Skills::* • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience. • Excellent client-facing communication skills. • 3-5 years of IT and Business Intelligence experience. • 3-5 years of experience working with IBM Cognos. • Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau. • Data modeling experience • Experience with SAP is a plus. • Significant knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures and their benefits and limitations under particular use cases. • Excellent problem solving, design, debugging and testing skills. • Enjoy being challenged and to solve complex problems on a daily basis. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others to clarify requirements. *Regards, Rashmi Singh(Technical Resource Specialist)Ramy Infotech IncPhone: 408-317-9256 Ext-334 Fax : 408-273-6834Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* Note: We are working with prime vendor (One Layer between) for this position. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
