*Job Description::** 7+ years of experience in the area of Software
Analysis, architecture, development, Maintenance and Support. Almost 4+
years of hands on Liferay development experience
* 5 years of experience in design and development of Liferay applications
involving hooks, themes, layouts, portlets(JSR-168/JSR-286 Portlet
development), and ext-Plugins).
* 5+ years of JAVA/J2EE and Liferay/Java design patterns
* Strong Knowledge in J2EE, RDBMS, OOAD, MVC Frameworks, ORM Tools, Web
Servers, Web
* Experience in setting-up Clustered Liferay Portal environment.
* Installation and configuration of Liferay in Glassfish and Tomcat
* Securing Liferay servers (Enable audit logging, assign correct roles to
users)
* Customizing and using Liferay Out of Box portlets.
* Experience on LDAP and Liferay auto login process
* Strong knowledge on SOAP and Restful webservices and Configuring of
WS-Security.
* Experience in Site monitoring and tracking tools (Google analytics)
* Proficiency in programming with different Java IDE's
* Strong technical background, excellent analytical ability, good debugging
skills, good communication skills, team player, goal oriented and ability
to quickly learn new technologies as required.
* Design and development of XML Schema Definitions
* Testing: performing/automating Unit through Integration Testing. System
Integration Testing.
* Experience with Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
* Liferay portal certified is a plus*. *
