*Position Description:* Client Mobile/Connected Platform team is looking
for a Mobile Developer to join our team. We have a great team that spans
several platforms and works together to build the best markets, financial,
and business News applications in the world. We are always looking to bring
in new ideas and technology. The developer will primarily work on the
Client iOS application with opportunities to learn and grow. We have a
dynamic work environment where we're all encouraged to share ideas with
executives, customers, and each other. We move at a rapid pace, with
feedback and constant communication.
What will you be doing? Develop and modify complex applications using the
latest version of the mobile platform's SDK. Participate in peer code
reviews. Assist others in the use of programming tools to best meet
application needs. Work with Architecture and other developers as
applicable. Perform analysis of customer requirements and assist project
management in the development of cost and time estimates and project
status. Provide production support for applications, assist others with
problem resolution, and respond with solutions to both functional and
technical issues in a timely manner. Other tasks and duties as needed to
support the team and/or business.
*Qualifications:*
Minimum Requirements: 3-4 years professional development experience,
advanced analytical, problem-solving,and troubleshooting skills with
complex applications. Proper object construction to support application
requirements ensuring proper use oftechnologies such as multi-threading,
animation, data management.
Familiarity consuming web services and HTTP REST interaction (JSON or XML).
Experience with websockets and/or sockets a plus Agile/iterative
development experience a plus-
Experience with Git is required Minimum Requirements for iOS Positions:
1-2 years professional experience developing native iOS applications.
Experience with Swift and/or Objective-C- Familiarity with Apple Push
Notification Service (APNS)
Experience building universal apps using Storyboards and Auto Layout.
Experience using Xctest is a plus.4
