Immediate opening for and experienced Essbase Admin/Consultant. - Your skills are needed to assist by providing adminstratinve database support for their Essbase and BPCS systems supply chain financial systems. - In this role you will serve as the key control point for system structures and programs in this unique role as a "Finance Manager liaison" between the business finance / accounting, manufacturing organization and systems decision makers. - You will be charged with managing the legacy Hyperion Essbase application and BPCS financial system for both structures and data flows in the context of the Close and Reporting processes. - You will also actively participate in the design and implementation of updates to the system. Qualified candidates will have experience with administering a database (Essbase): supporting load process, updating metadata, running rules/reports, managing the flow of data between systems/mapping tables, etc. - You must be able to maintain existing and create new Essbase calc scripts, and interfaces from SAP as well as manage metadata in Essbase and provide user support for any issue related to connectivity, troubleshoot user issues and issues with calc scripts and interfaces. Responsibilities include: - Maintaining the legacy Hyperion Essbase application and BPCS financial system - Perform month-end close activities and work with the Controller/NA Business Services organization to ensure a timely close process - Troubleshoot and solve any issues with data loads - Support the US financial community with their respective loads - Update the metadata, rules and reports in the application on a monthly basis as needed by the business - Manage data flow between BPCS, Keystone & Essbase - Support Headquarters Finance and the Controller's organization with Essbase system related issues Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years' experience in Financial Planning/Reporting Systems - 5+ years Hyperion Essbase experience required - Must have experience with administering the Database - BPCS preferred - Strong problem solving skills, challenging assertive approach - Ability to work with details/understand business implications - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Able to read/write and analyze complex scripts required - Experience working with Hyperion Planning / Essbase applications preferred - Strong problem solving skills, challenging assertive approach - Ability to work with details/understand business implications - Ability to function in a team, within changing, fast paced environment, autonomously Regards, Upendra Nath (Deputy Resource Manager) Ramy Infotech Inc Phone : 408-317-9256 Ext-311 Please Note: Due to high volume of calls, I may miss your call, email is the better way to reach me. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
