This person is coming aboard while the organization is moving from Solaris and Linux in their current environment functionality in the Cloud. Ideal candidates will be able to work with minimal direction and have experience in an Agile environment. The selected individual will need to hit the ground running as there is no shortage of work to be completed. If you are looking to embark on a new project and want to work for a well-known organization, then this is opportunity for you! *Additional Detail:Skills* -Experienced cloud developer to implement AWS cloud services. The work will involve setting up a cloud environment, prototyping and validating implementation strategies and options, and porting functionality from existing systems to the AWS cloud. This work will be in an Agile development environment. *Nature of work, skill sets involved:* *o Setting up Java applications to run on AWS *- Lambdas - EC2s (long running/heavy weight) - Cloud containers, AWS CloudFormation Templates, Docker, etc. *o Setting up workflow on AWS - AWS step functions look promising.
