This individual will support the successful implementation of a new enterprise Space Planning, Asset Management, and Condition Assessment system; allowing the Office of the President to identify, prioritize and estimate the cost of deferred maintenance of all real-property assets across all University of California campuses and medical centers. This individual will be responsible for providing both functional and technical support throughout the entire Software Development Life-Cycle (Concept, Scope, Design, Develop, Testing, Implementation and Maintenance); reporting directly to the program manager. She must have 10+ years’ experience managing software development life-cycle engagements, with experience in Agile/Scum development. The Sr. System Developer is responsible for taking ownership of project deliverables, assigned by the program manager. A key focus will be supporting the definition of process, requirements and organizing project components into deliverables; identifying areas of configuration, customization, and optimization and providing solutions that meet the business requirements. Ultimately, the Sr. System Developer will be responsible for developing and directing the management of all unit testing and integrated system testing. The Sr. System Developer will also be responsible for leading data conversion and migration tasks. In addition, the Sr. System Developer will be responsible for supporting the install of any new TRIRIGA instances or upgrading existing instances. The individual must have experience (8+ years) dealing with Executive Level management; guiding them through software design and requirements definition processes.
