To all you nice folks out there on the list. Recently, I discovered a
problem which seems to make it impossible for new debian binary
packages to be installed on your system. I assure you that it will
not bother the performance of your upgraded system, but you need to be
careful about the packages you might choose to install on the system
after installing to hard drive.

It goes like this. I recently installed a group of new programming
packages, packages that I really didn't need, but that I thought might
be worth a look into later. This install required that part of the
gcc subsystem be upgraded to the gcc 4.0 version.

Apparently, this required the upgrade of the glibc package which is
practically the foundation for all the functionality of gcc and that
functionality which is included into programs that we write.

When I attempted to install a package after all this was completed, I
got a funny error message. about glibc detecting double free or
corruption prev with a hex number at the end of the line that was
different each time the error occurred. It is rather easy to
duplicate. Just try to install another debian binary package after
installing some other package. I have to try to find it.

I am going to re-install all of Oralux on my computer system and
attempt to discover the solution to this problem as soon as possible.
When the solution is discovered and proved to work, I will post it to
the list.

It is the desire of the development team that your Oralux experience
be the best computing experience you could have and we strive to make
sure that everything works as it should.

I am hoping for a solution in the next few days or, if possible, even
hours.
