Hello Gilles, Unfortunately I am not using Debian but Fedora. Is it just a matter of getting the file, putting it in the load-path and loading it at start-up? Or does w3m or vm have to be built with this file?
As a (temporary ) workaround, I found Doug's suggestion quite satisfactory, but obviously it would be better to use the remedy you proposed.
