Using 0.7.4, speakup concerns the external synthesizers. The software
synths will be included later on.

At the boot prompt, for selecting the doubletalk lite driver, please type:
knoppix speakup_synth=ltlk

The synthesisers are listed at the end of this mail [1].

In 0.7.4, the speakup documentation is under:
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/speakup/

Avec 0.7.4, le lecteur d'écran Speakup pilote de nombreuses synthèses
externes. Les synthèses logicielles seront intégrées plus tard.

Pour sélectionner par exemple, doubletalk lite, saisissez à l'invite
du boot:
knoppix speakup_synth=ltlk

Les pilotes sont listés à la fin de ce post [1].
La doc speakup (en anglais) se trouve dans le CD sous :
