My daughter had her Compag Presario R3000 at the house this weekend. I
never could get sound configured on that machine with 0.6a.
I loaded 0.7.4 and it works very well. The speech worked perfectly.
DSL was configured via the ethernet connector automatically. I am very
pleased. I hope to demonstrate Oralux at regional special ed meeting
sometime next month. Being able to use my daughter's computer will
make things much easire.
The only thing I found out of the ordinary was dropping to a command
prompt from YASR and then starting emacspeak. Emacspeak spoke each
line twice as I scrolled down the page.
