Hi, Kalyan,
        I'm sure of the port number; I checked with the provider, and
        the port needs to be either 80 or 3535.  Also, the server
        doesn't use tls, according to tech support, so I intensionally
        turned that off.  I thought perhaps specifying the type of
        authentication might help, but that doesn't seem to have done
        much.  My "*trace of smtp session..." buffers seem to come up
        blank for some reason, so it's hard to see what I'm doing wrong
        from a debug standpoint.
