The people who wrote pine said that the program is really not for use
with pop3 servers as much as the newly-emerging imap protocol.  There
is pop3 support, but, as far as options in the configuration menu, and
the pinerc file, there is no way to include a password for this
situation.  It will always be necessary to enter it each time.
