What I do is this. I have an Oralux cd with me. I can carry this
wherever I go. I have added the programs I want to a usb drive which
I carry along with the Oralux cd. Anywhere and at any time I need to
use the computer, I have my complete computing environment with me.
In effect, any machine becomes a duplicate of mine at home. This
works really well. You can do it by setting up the new persistent
storage when Oralux starts up with its audio menu, and it will be
detected if the drive is connected on any future boot.

Hope this helps.
