hi there. I can now get the silent mode to work with the patch. but the problem is that I want the system to prompt for the user name and password for each user including root. so I had a doubt weather I choose to install a debian like system. the knoppix installer asks as to what kind of setup should be performed. the recommended one is debian. so if I choose it, will the speach still be available?
