Boenous,
As follows from /usr/share/doc/cdrkit-doc/READMEs/README.verify (package
cdrkit-doc"):
---cut here---
NOTE: All TAO tracks end in 2 unreadable run-out sectors
...
NOTE: Some operating systems have a read ahead bug that causes I/O errors for
the last file(s) on a CD. This seems at least to be true for all Linux versions
and for Solaris 7 FCS. For Solaris 7 there is a patch (107465-02) that you
should
install. This I/O error problem does not occur with DAO disks and with TAO disks
that have been written with cdrecord -pad.

Personally I several times end up with discs ending with 2 sectors with
lc error.
Also, if I do "cdrdao copy" on last-sent oralux 0.7A cd, it finds 2
sectors with lc errors (Have you burnt it in Track At Once mode, haven't
you?).
So to avoid the errors a command must looks like this:
wodim -dao <other options> <the image file>.iso
Because by default, it assumes "-tao" option.
I checked this by writing an image first in TAO mode then then the same
image in DAO mod.
The first method gives 2 LC errors While doing "cdrdao copy" and the
second one gives no errors while verifying.

Two of the most famous products of Berkeley are LSD and Unix. I don't think
that this is coincidence.
