Καλημέρα Φίλες και φίλοι μου,
Για όσους ξέρουν Αγγλικά, έλαβα το πιο κάτω μήνυμα για ένα παιχνίδι που
φαίνεται ότι είναι ιδιαίτερα δημοφιλές και το έκαναν και τυφλικά προσβάσιμο και
τζάμπα. Το κατέβασα και κατάφερα να σκοτώσω ένα λύκο ύστρα από πάλη. Επειδή
όμως είμαι κάτι περισσότερο από άσχετος στα παιχνίδια δεν ξέρω τι θα καταφέρω.
Θα θυμάστε μερικοί ότι πίσω στο 2013 είχα δείξει ενδιαφέρον για το eurofly.
Όμως εγώ ήθελα ένα εύκολο παιχνίδι να ακούω αεροπλάνα, να βλέπω χάρτες και να
ξεκουράζομαι. Ωστόσο, μάλλον ήμουν η περίεργη εξαίρεση, καθώς ο προσανατολισμός
ήταν στο να γίνει όσο πιο δύσκολο και τεχνικό γινόταν, κάτι που μάλλον εγώ δεν
επιθυμούσα. Στο παιχνίδι αυτό υπάρχουν διάφορες γλώσσες, αλλά δεν εντόπισα τα
Ελληνικά και φυσικά, δεν ξέρω τι γίνεται. Πάντως δεν σκοπεύω να θυσιάσω τα
επιστημονικά μου, φαίνεται όμως πολύ δουλεμένο παιχνίδι. Όποιος έχει τη διάθεση
να ανακαλύψει περισσότερα, ας μας φωτίσει. Το ίδιο φυσικά, θα πράξω κι εγώ αν
έχω κάτι να πω.

A Heroes Call is a very popular audio game, for windows PC, made for the blind
and very highly regarded by audio game players. I have pasted this post from

I got permission from the Out of sight games team to release A Hero's Call as
freeware.
My hope is that many more gamers will be able to enjoy it, and that it will
last much longer into the future since it is not tied to a server for DRM.
I am grateful that the Out of sight games team felt that making A Hero's Call
freeware was the right choice.
I hard coded the game to always act as if it were unlocked.
I removed the check for game updates, and the updater.
I enabled the kick starter bonus items for everyone.

Description.
A hero's call represents a major landmark event in audiogames and a style of
rpg we've not seen before.
Journey to the city of Farhaven, a town under attack from a ruthless enemy.
help the citizens by pursuing the main quest, or explore and see what other
tasks you can find, since you will not be alone, four allies will join you in
your mission, each with their own history, backstory and even their own options
for quests.
The game alternates between a full first person adventure style interface, and
turn based battles. Journey around the world using sound beacons, your mouse
and keyboard and a detailed movement system to interact with npcs and objects
around you. When trouble comes calling however, you will engage in fully turn
based rpg style battles, choosing skills and weaponry from an extensive range
of options, but hearing everything in gorgeous surround sound.
Choose to play in several classes such as warrior, ranger, priest, mage, thief
or necromancer, each with their own skills and abilities, as well as
customisable items to match. Use these skills along with the powers of your
various friends and allies to forge your way to victory and answer a hero's
call.
As well as a huge amount of content, dozens of different quests, 40 npcs to
meet and interact with and a massive world to explore, A hero's call is also
notable for it's audio. Sapi or screen reader output is used for mundane
options such as item management, however all of the games' npcs (including your
allies), are fully voice acted, giving a positively cinematic experience.
If you've always wanted to play titles like Baldur's gate, or knights of the
old republic, here is your chance!
Don't be put off by all the jargon, the game talks you through the early
stages, explaining how to get the most from your keyboard.
