Hello. As you requested i provide you details regarding to greek tts Alexandros
and voiceover in ios6.
The newest version of Alexandros, the Greek voice, is extremely difficult to
understand. There are issues of phonemic clarity and accuracy. Typing is out of
the question as the feedback is usually wrong. The intonation is unnatural and
the overall result is much worse than the previous version. The only reason we
have not noticed this issue wile using Mountain Lion, is the fact that we tend
to use the new Greek TTS Melina instead of Alexandros.
We would like to ask you to please downgrade to a previous version of
Alexandros, the one used in IOS 5 but you don't support this procedure. Of
course, the results would be optimal if you could use Melina instead of
Alexandros. We would not mind having to download Melina as a paid application.
We use our phone as a reading tool and until there is a new and accessible
upgrade, we can no longer enjoy reading books and news papers in Greek.
We hope you will understand how serious this issue is for all Greek voiceover
users.

We appreciate the feedback and wanted to let you know that Apple is currently
investigating both the issues you mention -- problems with VoiceOver voices,
and custom button labels.
Unfortunately we cannot comment on when these may be resolved.

We are a group of blind users of the iphone from Greece and we have just
updated with the new iOS 6. Right after that we started having problems with
the Voice Over. The Voice is not clear and the words are uterred in half and
are not understandable any more. And this brings us in the position to not
understand the text. We also can not rename the buttons. And we have the same
problem reading (or hearing) in English too. As you can easily understand, the
device becomes useless for us. Please do something immediate in order to solve
the problem encountered.
