Greetings,
When using x-forms, if several fields are required and/or have
required formats these can be indicated in the model (typically the xforms
object in the page-flow). I know you can prevent the errors from being
displayed prior to sending to the client on the initial load by setting
xxforms:show-errors="false" and then re-enable the errors on the other
side of the initial submit should that be necessary. My question is, is
there some value or field available in the XPL to determine whether any
fields are invalid, since they are validated every time the model is
loaded, or would you have to duplicate all the checks in XPL thus making
the XForms bind statements essentially useless or at least repetitive?
Essentially, it boils down to retrieving the validation property,
validated or invalid, and determining the next page in the flow based on
this property. In the ATM example the pin is validated but it is done in
the XPL vice through a bind property. I apologize if this question has
been asked before but I didn't see it in the archive.
Very Respectfully,
Gregory J Blajian
