Hallo Peter,
I am pretty sure that we will address the eXist issue very soon, as there were a few requests for this already. We will use the opportunity to upgrade to eXist beta2 in the process. I will do it in my spare time if necessary ;-)
In theory were are on a 6-week stable release cycle. We aim at following an XP-like type of planning with 3 2-week iterations. The next stable release should be out in the next few days.
Note that as soon as something like this eXist fix is in CVS, you can pull down an unstable build and start using it. We try not to destabilize the CVS too much, but of course you never know for sure until serious manual testing has been done. The confidence level will improve as we increase the number of unit tests (and by the way, if poeple feel like contributing tests...).
Of course I hope you end up choosing Presentation Server. I am necessarily very biased but I think the overall approach is more straightforward as well. At any rate we will appreciate your feedback.
-Erik
I definitely hope you will choose
