oxf.version is somewhat of an anachronism. At the moment it is just a file to keep the build system, anthill, happy. ( It insists on being able to manage some file ). Actual version number is something like 2.6.0.200411170318. Corresponding cvs tag would be TAG_OPS_2_6_0_200411170318. That said file could/should say 2_6.
