Those functions are not standard and not supported by any of the Java XSLT transformers.

#1 thing to do is NOT depend on msxml functions. #2 thing to do is find an alternative. Not knowing what functionality you are looking or it is hard for me to answer, but there is a fairly large number of built-in functions in XPath 2.0 and XSLT 2.0 that may do what you are trying to achieve. Saxon also supports EXSLT:

Finally, you can implement functions yourself in Java and call them from the stylesheet.
