Hello, I am new to Obeon so sorry if this is a stupid question.
How does one set up and run stand alone applications via the Obeon Studio (eclipse) ? I have the portlet examples running, but want to run Petstore and Bizdoc stand alone rather than as a portlet.
For the BizDoc ane Employees examples, you can just run:
http://localhost:8080/orbeon/bizdoc http://localhost:8080/orbeon/employees
Modify the port number and prefix according to your local setup. BTW the Pet Store example is currently not maintained.
Also the instructions for the Employees database application indicate that one should mess with Tomcat files to set up the database and users. How do I do this while using the Tomcat version built into the Studio ?
If you wait for 2.7 (which will be out very soon now), you won't need to do any setup for the database for the Employees example to work. The setup for users is optional, so you will be able to run the example out of the box.
But Dan can maybe reply to the question of how to modify the server.xml used by Studio.
