I have an instance (generated by XPL), a model and action but no view. The model does not seem to get called (it has an instance input and output parameter) when I have actions defined on the page. I do not know whether it has to do with the thread XPL semantics :) or simply in a setup where there is no view but there are actions on the page the model never gets called. Now I will try having an action model on the action. It could also do the job.
