Yes, the V1 release can be installed to Azure. The documentation for this should be up-to-date: http://orchardproject.net/docs/Deploying-Orchard-to-Windows-Azure.ashx There is no built-in social community management yet, but that would make a nice contribution as a module in our gallery<http://orchardproject.net/gallery>. Actually, once we add some social community features like reviews and ratings to the gallery itself, we will likely repackage those features as modules that anyone can use in an orchard site.
