Unfortunately no. It seems to be a particularly random occurrence, meaning
it always happens at the absolute worst timeŠ ;) Like in the middle of our
radio show when we're trying to send people to a petition that was just
changed.

Do you have reproduction steps?

Subject: Content Disappearing When Publishing

We have sporadically experienced an issue when publishing content where
somehow the latest and published flag both get unset for a content item. Its
as if a new ContentItemVersionRecord is not being created, or being created
after the previous one was unset as the latest and published, and then
having its transaction aborted or something. Has anyone else experienced
anything like this? Orchard team, do you know of any possible workarounds?
