There is a Readme.txt file at the root of the repository which explains the steps for getting a gallery setup. There's a bit of manual effort involved, but I believe everything should still work with the latest version of Orchard. It's designed to work in conjunction with the GalleryServer project, which is at http://galleryserver.codeplex.com. That project also contains a Readme.txt file which explains the steps for setting it up.
