If you go to Google Groups and click on the small link to 'Advanced Search' you can search 4-5 threaded discussions about storing pollen that have occurred on rec.gardens.orchids over the past 5 yrs or so.
Search on the words 'pollen storage' and type 'rec.gardens.orchids' in the space further down the page so you only return items from that newsgroup.
The answers are out there if you know where to look. I like the Google Groups search engine. I've used it for a variety of functions, but mostly to get the skinny on whether computers or digital cameras really work as advertised. Nothing like a frank and open discussion on a newsgroup to let you know where things stand.
