Hi there, You're not the only one facing problems sending stuff to USA.
Some of the courier services at my place are so afraid of all these delays that they stopped any parcels containing live plants despite having proper certification and packed according to the requirements. Can you believe it - UPS, FEDEX, DHL, TNT accept parcels of plants from US to enter Singapore and they refuse to accept any live plant shippments from Singapore... I would like advice on which courier services accept live plant shippments to USA from Singapore as well. It is ridiculous to send small hobbyist quanities by air-freight where shippments are charged at least for 45kgs of plants... That is one reason why the Orchid Place can't ship to USA at reasonable prices to hobbyists currently - the shipping cost rung up 2-3 times the cost of the plants?!
