I contacted the Colombian specialist, Pedro Ortiz Valdivieso, and he provided me with collection data.
He found that species in the Colombian Department of Cundinamarca in a region where the altitude varies between 1000-1500 m.
He suggests that Epidendrum porpax var. alba should be called fma viride (for the green color of the flowers).

I am still looking for a description of that forma (viride or alba) or any published reference about it.
