My mention of pidgin English in the original post about Queens English was tongue in cheek, and pointing out a number of different versions spoken around the world. Pidgin was an extreme of course.
I was educated in the 50's and Pidgin is what was spoken in PNG then. I have only visited Port Moresby for two days a few years ago and did not have first hand experience to learn any language. The only other experience I have were repurcussions after someone mispelt something in a journal and the meaning changed to something entirely different. I am sorry now that I mentioned it at all.
