Dear Aaron Hicks,
I know simple identification only two bacteria. 1)Basilus subtilis, 2)Methylotrophic 
bacteria.
 
Basilus subtilis, color is white-yellow. Fast spreading.
Methylotrophic bacteria: pink-red colony. Coral like colony shape.
Both Basilus subtilis and methylotrophic bacteria chlorine resistant. Both of them 
produce cytokinin. For methylotrophic bacteria, you can use in tissue culture media to 
supplying vitamine and cytokinin without sugar containing medium. You can feed 
bacteria a little amount methyl alcohol. For plant, you can supply CO2.
