I live in the New Orleans area and grow this plant mounted in bright light. It grows well with a two or three waterings a week and regular feeding. Mine frequently blooms twice a year, the first being only a couple flowers then it puts on a good show for me in the fall. As a matter of fact it just dropped the two or three flowers that opened a couple weeks ago. It is close to 100 degrees today and this is not uncommon.
