W are looking to build or most likely have built a 20' x 36' greenhouse with approprate heating and cooling in Jacksonville, Florida. Since we live in a residential district, we have to have permits and stamped engineered plans. It does not look like it will be a problem getting the needed permits. At least we are not in a new or historic neighborhood where it would have to be approved. I would like to know who some of the companies you have worked with, both good and bad, and why. Are there any things you would do differently or would consider essential? Is there a particular style ( gutter connect, etc.) that works better or worse? Are there practicle pros and cons to the different types of coverings (poly film, corogated lexan, twin wall lexan) other than just the cost? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
