McKee is in Jackson County, in the middle of Boone National Forest. The Forestry Service, located in Winchester KY, might be interested in the collection of orchids from National Forest lands. Acaulis is common here, but not that common . I doubt if someone could collect a thusand plants from less than fifty, seventy five acres, and then they would be considered a big stand.
