While I certainly agree stripping plants from the wild is a problem and
possibly illegal, has anyone considered that we may be jumping to the wrong
conclusion in this regard. A rush to judgement so to speak!

I have not visited the web site or e-bay and only know what I have read on
OGD, but has anyone considered that what the seller ment is that they are
grown from seed, germinated, and then planted in pots and raised in the area
where they grow wild and are not wild plants at all. Maybe we should
ascertain the facts before we crucify. This is not to mean that the
questions do not need to be asked, but by the appropriate authorities. Once
we find out the facts, then we can judge.

In my experiance C. acaule does not generally generate dense colonies
(maybe in some places but these are very small localized areas and not
really "dense" as with some of the other North American cyps), so with the
number of plants being offered, even 5000 hectares would not produce close
to the number.
